Timeline

Age 0-12 (52-40 BBY)
On the fourth of ‘January’, 52 BBY, Ashyra Blake is born to Trygve and Revna Blake, in a remote village called Steinnlundr. She inherited her fathers wing colours and hair, and her mother’s eyes and facial features. Very early on, her parents realised she was a sensitive child with a very curious mind. Growing up in their house, shortly outside the village, she grew up sheltered, only ever seeing people from the nearby village. She had a difficult time with making friends and so kept much to herself, indulging in fantasies of visiting alien worlds, especially when her parents told her about how the Carduls were discovered by the rest of the galaxy.
Cardulia didn’t join the galactic community until around 150 BBY, as their hyperspace route wasn’t yet discovered. Once it was - a time the carduls call the Great Uncertainty - took place, where many other species tried to contact them as well as make use of them, like pirates. These explorers quickly learned that despite being primitive by their standards, they packed quite a punch with terrifying warriors who didn’t hesitate in defending their borders.Since their planet is rich in resources, the cardul leaders of the time made the choice of trading some for information and ships. As decades passed and their whole society started to adapt to the galactic community, the carduls became famous for their warriors and beautiful homeworld. But also for their reclusiveness and unwillingness to cooperate too much with the rest. As a result, a lot of the inner lives of carduls remain a secret and visitors to the planet are rare. Especially when Cardulia was located close to Thalassia; an area in the region where slavers and pirates frequented.
Ash developed a fear and dislike of slavers and pirates already as a child, thanks to her father’s rather vivid storytelling. But it didn’t stop her from dreaming about becoming a galactic adventurer.
Age 12-17 (40-35 BBY)
As she entered her teenage years, her parents started to involve her in their chores as well as properly learning how to survive on her own. Ashyra was more interested in flying around and shooting things with her bow; wishing nothing more but to adventure out in the galaxy. While she picked up a few things from her parents, such as properly butchering animals and sewing, much else was simply ignored in favour of trying to explore, much to her parents’ frustration.
Ashyra kept mostly to herself still in this age and started to adopt the nickname Ash more, reserving her full name only to family members, per custom. At the age of 15 she received a traditional bow from her parents, crafted by themselves. While many carduls had adopted firearms and energy bows at this rate, traditional weapons were still important and seen as a more honourable way to take down beasts.Between 15 and 17, she started to work a little as a courier between the nearby villages, further fuelling her interest for exploration. This is when she started to become a bit of a collector; bringing home whatever fancy minerals, trinkets or other pretty things she found during her work routes. An invasion force of hikarens - dark force creatures with red eyes that emerge randomly on the planet every decade for just one night - enters the village of Steinnlundr and slaughters everyone in it, including Ash’s parents in 35 BBY. As far as hikaren invasions goes, this one is unusually thorough and Ash is the sole survivor of the attack.During the attack, her parents locked her into the pantry of their house, before succumbing to two hikarens. As the monsters try to break into the pantry, Ash attempts to escape through a window, only to make the room collapse on itself, burrowing her under the rubble. While the hikarens give up and disappear as the sun rises, Ash is trapped under the rubble, unable to move, with only her dead parents for company.Hours pass before someone finds her; a traveller who happened to come by and realised something awful had happened. Raud Ternor digs her out of the rubble, helping her recover for a few days. Realising that the girl is woefully incapable of taking care of herself, he takes it upon himself to teach her.Age 17-25 (35-27 BBY)
Raud ends up doing more than just taking Ash in to help her, he ends up outright adopting her, becoming her step-father in many ways. For eight years he teaches her proper survival skills, making her a perfect survivor with a preference for sniper rifles.
While she’s haunted by her parent’s deaths, having developed a fear of closed spaces as a result of being trapped in the rubble, she’s determined to never again be helpless in a dangerous situation.Ash becomes very serious and closed off during this time, rarely smiling or indulging in more relaxed activities, despite Raud trying to make her sometimes.Age 25-30 (27-22 BBY)
Between 30 and 24 BBY, Cardulia slowly gathered the Republic’s interest which culminated in 24 BBY at the formation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Seeing a greater threat at hand, the Republic were now eager to get as many as possibly into their fold. This also attracted various non cardul communities to develop on the planet, which were closely watched by the cardul leadership. Despite their suspicions, the Cardulia leadership agreed with the Republic’s proposition, finding themselves not aligning well with the Separatists’ goals and ideals.
A Republic base was established in the Cardulia capital of Tovor in 24 BBY, becoming a safe haven for Republic forces and citizens in the area. Still suspicious and wary of the whole thing, the cardul leadership put Zenda House in charge of the Cardulian interests in the base. A stubborn cardul who would make sure that their interests wouldn’t be ignored or trampled all over. She’s the to go to contact for any Republicans, who in turn reports everything to the Cardulian leadership.Between 24 and 22 BBY the cooperation between the Republic and Cardulia flourished, as more carduls joined the Republic business in various departments. In such a short time, many of them became a lot less recluse and a lot was gleaned from Cardulian culture and ferocity.Raud started to work for Zenda during this time; acting as an advisor to both her and any Republic contacts seeking to explore the region and other tasks. He eventually drew in Ash as well, who was admittingly curious about the development of the Republic’s presence on the planet. While her main task was to assist him (and learn about the Republic in general on behest of his own request of her), she did end up performing so well that the Republic leaders on the base took notice of her. Unlike many of the cardul warriors in the base, Ash wasn’t just an expert on energy archery, but also with sniper rifles. In the end of 22 BBY, after the Clone Wars had begun, the Separatists tried to kidnap someone from the Cardulian leadership, in order to convince them to stop working with the Republic. Something the rest of the leadership demanded that the Republic handle at once.A seasoned Jedi Knight; Hide (pronounced Hi-de), was sent out to deal with the matter, along with the Clone Captain Tenno and 30 highly trained troopers. Raud suggested they bring Ash with her. Although she couldn’t understand Hide at the time (due to him being mute), Tenno served as a translator using GSL (Galactic Sign Language). They successfully saved the council member and brought in the kidnappers to be judged in a trial on Coruscant. Naturally, the Separatists cut all ties with the kidnappers, claiming they were an independent party.Age 30-33 (22-19 BBY)
For the next three years, Hide was stationed in the Cardulian region of space permanently and with how well he and Ash had cooperated, he’d requested her to be assigned to his squad of clones, as a guide, if she so desired. Wanting to see more of the Republic and space itself, Ash agreed, becoming a frequent part of the Jedi’s company.
During this time Geir Svalegern was assigned as a sort of replacement for Ash, advancing quickly in the ranks and showing great interest in the way the Republic handled things and how their entire command structure worked. While Ash’s assets lay in her physical prowess; Geir’s talent for strategy and bureaucracy won him many hearts and minds in the Republic base. Of course he was a good and reliable warrior as well, as most carduls are but he preferred not to show too much of those talents near the Republic. As Geir advanced in the ranks of the Republic, Ash during her first year with Hide learned a lot about the worlds outside of Cardulia. During that time, she had become comfortable with space travelling; although she never could get over the discomfort of being on ships for too long. She also learned sign language in order to communicate with Hide and started to build a friendship with Geir, as he often sought her advice in regards to now having her former job.
Nearing the end of 21 BBY, the Separatists once again go after Cardulia, though this time they try to establish a base on the planet, hidden deep into the mountains. Mountains they know the carduls avoid due to spiritual reasons. Somehow, this information is only ever learned by the Republic and they never share it with the Cardulian leadership.
Not wanting to alert them either, the Republic asks Hide to handle this discreetly. Tenno contacts Cody, knowing the General is trying to sort out how to deal with the situation without using a large, visible force and Cody suggests Clone Force 99, even if they’re quite new on the field. The Bad Batch arrives and together with Hide and Ash, as well as Tenno and a few of his most trusted troopers, they manage to take out the base without the carduls ever knowing differently. While this bothers Ash a bit, she trusts Hide when he says it's for the best. Besides, it’s considered taboo to be in these mountains and Ash has no desire to share that information with her people. The mountains are supposedly the resting place for the deity that most carduls still worship and they avoid the mountain out of respect. While Hide’s tasked to follow the Jedi Council’s command after this event and is tasked to travel more between different regions of space, Ash remains a bit more free in her endeavours. She varies between helping her people, assisting Hide or even joining the Bad Batch on various missions nearby, getting more confident that the Republic is the right side to stand with. It’s quite an active part of her life, as she’s kept very busy while also developing a strong friendship with Tech, as well slowly falling for him, even if she refuses to accept the latter. Most of all though, she’s realising how well Geir has adapted into the Republic system; as he’s acting and talking more like a Republic commander, rather than a cardul. It mostly intrigues her, as her own thoughts have gone in similar directions, as they and a few other carduls are considering permanently joining the Republic’s ranks. However, she quickly realises that his opinions on how the Republic should handle things is a lot darker than her own. Enough that she starts seeking some distance from him out of wariness. In the meantime, The Bad Batch become close enough allies that she learns pretty quickly of their new recruit, meeting Echo on their next mission together.Age 33 (19 BBY)
Order 66 happens and mostly everyone’s worlds are turned upside down. Ash is with Hide on Cardulia when Tenno and his troopers suddenly turn on the Jedi, attempting to kill him. Hide has no desire to kill them; although he has no choice but to end some of their lives. Finding himself unable to defend himself against Tenno, he suffers a few serious wounds, until Ash can take him out from the situation. In doing this, she’s spotted and labelled a traitor by Geir, who has quickly joined the new Empire.
She contacts the Bad Batch, who despite their own issues shows up to take her and Hide off-world. They bring Hide to a moon upon his request where he’ll be picked up by his own people, as he knows he can’t return to the Jedi Temple. He bids Ash farewell there, with the assumption of never seeing her again as his homeworld is very remote and unknown to anyone but its inhabitants. At a loss for what to do, Ash tags along with the Bad Batch as they reach Ord Mantell, helping them out. Things don't turn out too well, as the Batch are captured by the zygerrian slavers; the result of everyone suffering from the lack of Crosshair’s presence. Ash and Echo manage to distract the slavers enough to release the rancor, buying them their alliance with Cid.Ash joins the Bad Batch from now on, following them throughout most events in Season 1. After the visit to Ryloth, and a failed attempt in grabbing Crosshair as by now the Batch has started to figure out it’s the chip controlling him, Zenda contacts Ash and asks for her assistance with Geir back on Cardulia. The Batch tag along with her, learning that the Empire is planning a hostile takeover of the Cardulian capital, in order to fully crush the carduls’ rebellious streak. The planet has not accepted the shift from the Republic to the Empire and wants them off their planet. Geir knows that a strong show of force is the best way to convince such a warrior race to stand down.Zenda wants Ash to talk him down, something Ash has no idea how to do. She and Hunter sneak into his headquarters in the capital, and she’s horrified to learn that Geir’s now a fanatic Imperial, willing to do anything for the Empire. She can’t convince him otherwise and her presence even seems to anger him even more, as he orders the orbiting Venators to start bombarding the city, planning on blaming the attack on the cardul rebels.Ash wants to stay and fight, but is forced to escape via the Marauder, as she otherwise risks dying in the explosions, especially as Geir is now set on killing her. Around thirty thousand people lose their lives during the bombardment and Ash considers herself a coward for escaping, something she and Echo spend a lot of time talking about; the guilt they have both experienced for different reasons.Ash also loses several relatives in the attack, which are scarce to start with. She doesn’t know where Raud is, as he had disappeared already before the attack and is unable to contact him. Zenda remains alive however and will continue to try and keep things peaceful between the Empire and the Carduls. But she suggests that Ash stays away from the planet for now, as everyone will be looking for her on it.The Bad Batch end up with their own problems shortly after, as Hunter is kidnapped and Tipoca City falls, leaving a quite depressive way into the next year.

Age 33-34 (18 BBY)
The Batch continues to work for Cid for a while, disgruntledly so. The first few months after Tipoca City’s fall (takes place between S1 and S2) Ash and Tech become even closer, until he makes her a courtship bracelet, more or less fully accepting her culture. They officially become a pair after years of friendship, much to the rest of the Batch’s relief.
The Batch changes their outfit some, to fit in with the loss of Crosshair and Ash permanently joining the team.As season 2 events kick in, they encounter Hakon, a cardul smuggler who was raised on another world and has basically no idea about cardulian culture. His presence causes big problems for the Batch, as he indirectly works for Cid with ties to the Durand family and so the Batch can’t afford to deal properly with him, despite the problems he causes. For one thing, he ‘sells’ Ash off to an alien for his own gain (using the plot of the Idiot’s array from Rebels, instead of the Entombed mission in S2).At this rate, the team is making the decision to part ways with Cid as they no longer agree with her work, especially as she seems to be taking a darker path into Durand territory which they have no desire to follow. Hakon, whose allegiance with the Durands is unsteady at best and relies on the Batch working with Cid, attempts to kidnap Ash in desperation, resulting in Tech injuring one of Hakon’s wings to the point of him being unable to ever use it again. After this, the Batch leaves Ord Mantell for good, having overstayed their welcome in the city. Their departure from Cid is amicable, even if she’s disappointed and she tells Hunter that they’ll come crawling back to her at some point. After this departure, an old friend to the squad and Ash as well as someone Hunter has a growing romantic interest in, Ranec, wants Tech and Ash’s help with a heist. They complete the mission, with Ranec finally being able to bring them to a secret project he’s been working on. A planet system which can’t be discovered by the Empire, as its coordinates constantly shift. Only specific signature keys can bring a ship to the right location. This is how the Bad Batch ends up on Skeio, a wild planet with only one newly established colony on. The colony consists of clones that Rex have rescued and brought there, as well as a few cardul refugees. Together, they all manage to build a flourishing community, hoping themselves safe from the Empire. As such, it also becomes an important location for Rex’s crew. Here, Ash encounters Tenno again, who is deeply regretful of his actions, even though he knows now it was the chip’s fault. The Batchers are given their own rooms to hopefully see as permanent homes, before Echo returns after a mission, carrying news about Crosshair.Per canon, the Batch decide to try and find out where Crosshair is being held, resulting in Plan 99.Tech’s fall normally wouldn’t have been an issue for Ash but during the mission she breaks her wing, resulting in her only partially being able to stop Tech from falling to his death. They both crash onto the ground, sustaining injuries, allowing for Hemlock to find them and bring them to Mount Tantiss. While their injuries are looked after, Hemlock is more interested in Tech’s mind. Using Ash as blackmail - threatening to kill her if Tech doesn’t cooperate - he makes use of Tech to figure out what Nala Se refuses to do in regards to the cloning techniques. It’s pure luck - or hidden assistance - that Ash ends up in a cell opposite of Crosshair before he’s taken away to another cellblock.Desperate, she does a ritual to call for her deity’s assistance; a dragon entity that works within dreams only. Not expecting a reply, she’s very surprised when she next falls asleep. Nidfegar, who very much exists still, connects Ash with the other two clones, allowing them to share dreams so that they can cooperate through them and figure a way out of the facility. It takes Tech a week of subterfuge and technical skills to craft himself a keycard he can use to free the other two, as well as the other imprisoned clones. As the three of them fight their way through the facility, Tech also manages to stop Hemlock from deploying any poisonous gas, as well as send out a distress call to the rest of the Bad Batch. The Bad Batch in the meanwhile have been blackmailed by the Vanguard Axis as they’ve more or less taken Cid hostage in her parlour. The droids aren’t fond of the Batch since their last encounter and they arrive there, realising that the droids have also sold them out to the Empire. Hemlock gives them Tech’s goggles, claiming the man to be dead, along with Ash. They fight their way out of the situation, with Cid helping them for various reasons, who is shot in the back and killed. They escape, distraught by everything, until the day after they learn that Tech’s goggles have recorded the whole thing, including where Hemlock told them to be taken. The very planet where Mount Tantiss is located. That’s why they can act so fast when Tech sends the distress call, they’re already on the planet, along with Rex’s crew, Ranec and Varga, another old friend, looking for the facility.
As a last ditch effort to buy time, as Ash and co, along with some escaped clones are pinned down in the hangar of the facility; Tech unleashes a virus into the system, threatening to delete all of Hemlock’s data. In doing so, he also copies some of it over, as well as deleting any information pertaining to the Bad Batch themselves.
The extraction is barely successful, with them escaping with new scars and being taken to a temporary hiding spot; an old republic based on a long deserted moon. Using AZI, who has been with Rex since Tipoca City fell, they remove the chips from the clones, including Crosshair who has a lot to catch up on.Currently, the Bad Batch are recovering on Skeio; with Tech having gained a wide scar across his left skull, and Ash having received a scar across her right ear. The team decides to try and help Rex out with freeing more clones, as well as causing chaos for the Empire where they can, using Skeio as a homebase. Crosshair joins up with the team again, but will also join up on missions with Rex and Varga as well, splitting his attention between several teams for now. Echo comes to the same decision.Tech starts to use a jetpack after the whole ordeal to prevent himself from falling like that again, but also in order to properly fly with Ash, as per cardul culture. He also crafts her devices to use on her boots and gloves, allowing her to magnetically attach them to surfaces, making her an even deadlier sniper. The team’s ready for their next move; accepting their new life as rebels and vigilantes of the galaxy, while also trying to maintain a semblance of a normal life on Skeio.

Timeline

9:12 Dragon, 22d December
Eleanor Treveylan gives birth to her fourth child; a celebrated event and the first few years of Isaiah’s life are under good care and plenty of love. As the Trevelyan family wish to do good by the Chantry, they follow their rules perfectly and start early in teaching Isaiah the same.
9:17 Dragon [Age 6]
Isaiah shows magical abilities which ends up throwing his entire life around. Terrified and ashamed, his parents do the thing expected from them by everyone else. They hand their youngest child over to the Ostwick Circle, to be raised in safety and far away from the family home. When the Circle suggested that the family could still visit Isaiah, they refused, claiming that he had brought shame over their house and it was easiest for everyone if they just never mentioned him again. This all happened in front of Isaiah, who did believe them at the time as he had already been influenced by their strict religious ways.
$\quad$He made no protests when the Templars took him away, even though he was terrified and didn’t really want to leave. In less than a few days, he was taken from his home and sent to the Circle.
9:17 – 28 Dragon [Age 6 to 17]
While Isaiah experienced a trauma so early in his life, he learned quickly that almost every other child in the Circle had similar experiences. He gained a new family in the form of the friends he made there, realising that in a way he was more free now than he had ever been. The boy had a natural aptitude for magic and here he could freely study it with people that were just like him. The way his family treated him would always haunt him and for several years that fuelled his drive to become the best mage he could be because maybe then they could forgive him and take him back.
A notion he dropped in his early teenager years since he realised that wasn’t how the world worked and he ended up simply working as hard as he did for his own sake and to prove his worth to the Circle instead.
9:28 Dragon [Age 17]
Isaiah’s taken away to complete the Harrowing; the ritual that will advance him from apprentice to Mage in title but might also be the end of his life. Something that was a great concern for him since he felt he was too young to undergo the ritual but the enchanters who decided it was time for him, clearly saw him as ready. Something that only added the pressure.
He can recall the day of the ritual with perfect clarity, how he was brought into the Fade to face the demon that wanted to possess him, how the Templars guarding him during the process would be ready to kill him if that happened. The offer the demon gave him had been a good one but Isaiah could at least give himself the credit of being too strong to fall for a demon’s manipulation. He was out of the fade again quickly, earning his title, silver ring and life. After the ritual he was no longer a student and started his research in earnest, as well as became a teacher in ice magic as that was his forte.9:31 Dragon [Age 20]
Another Harrowing occurs, this time with Isaiah’s best friend, Aaron who is 21 years old. The two have been best friends since early teens and while Isaiah were fully aware of Aaron’s reluctance to be a mage, he never expected that the other would resist the Harrowing as much as he did when the day came. Aaron attempted the ritual but it was interrupted for unknown reasons, possible the state of fear that Aaron landed in. He screamed and begged to be made Tranquil instead. Isaiah possible made the worst decision in his life that day, as he heard about what was about to happen.
He stormed the ritual room, blasted the doors down and attempted to take on all the Templars there. Naturally, he failed as the Templars deflected his spells, though two of them were caught by the surprise and were injured in the process. Aaron’s panicked face was the last he saw before he was knocked out. He was put in isolation for a week after that incident, denied all contact and even knowledge of what had happened to Aaron, though he feared the worst.Isaiah received several punishments for his lashing out; punishments that would last for several months and he was put under careful care of Senior Enchanter Lydia who were charged to keep an eye on him to make sure this was just one incident and not the start of something more. Beyond that, his entire left forearm was scarred by his own fire that a Templar deflected back on him; it gave him an intense dislike for fire magic, especially his own and perhaps subconsciously he's not even capable of casting it any more.Aaron did become a Tranquil and Isaiah only visited him once after that. He couldn’t stand seeing his former friend like a sleepwalking, emotionless being and despite Aaron wishing for their friendship to continue, Isaiah just couldn’t do it. The next time he’d see Aaron would be when the Tranquil was killed during the Mage Rebellion; and that’s a guilt Isaiah will need to learn to live with.9:31 – 9:40 Dragon [Age 20- 29]
Isaiah becomes an excellent teacher as well as the Circle’s best ice mage, there’s very little he can’t do with ice. Just as things seem to be perfect though, in year 9:37 the Mage Rebellion happens. Things after that would never turn quite the same and much of the time is spent worrying about the future and following political debates. While Isaiah tried to keep mostly out of that, with his time spent with Enchanter Lydia, he had no way to fully avoid it and would help her in such matters. As the Ostwick circle remained as neutral as they could be towards the Mage-Templar war, he figured things could be much worse.
9:41 Dragon [Age 30]
Despite Isaiah wanting little to do with his blood family, the mages insisted on him sending him along Lydia and a few others to the Conclave, hoping that his noble blood would stay away any hostilities. As proven though, it did little to save anyone at the Conclave, beyond Isaiah himself.
9:41 – 9:43 Dragon [Age 30-32]
The Inquisition takes up the majority of Isaiah’s life and he spends those years adapting to a new role and a very different life. Knowing that everything he had planned for himself is now most likely not going to happen, he more or less gives the Inquisition everything he has.
During this time he falls in love with Dorian and they enter a deep relationship, with Dorian helping Isaiah through a very tough time. After the the defeat of Corypheus, Dorian stays with Isaiah, despite making plans to return to Tevinter at some point.9:43 - 9:44 [Age 32-33] WIP
After the Inquisition’s success and Solas’ disappearance, the Order continues with cleaning up the mess afterwards. Isaiah eventually goes after Solas, demanding answers. He receives none that's helpful and the Dread Wolf simply tells Isaiah that he regrets hurting him and to enjoy what time is left before his plans begin.
Horrified by the implications and having lost the Anchor as well as his left forearm, Isaiah at first doesn't know what to do. As Dorian is returning to Tevinter to see if he can change the ways there, Isaiah decides to tag along. Partly to be helpful to Dorian but also because the clues he has found to foil Solas is found in Tevinter.

Timeline

Kherus started off in Prince Seruth’s mind, after the Empress of Time was murdered by the Vizir at the time. He aided Seruth in restoring the Prince’s kingdom (Follows much along Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones storyline). While doing so, Seruth encounters Farah, the Indian princess and starts falling for her, leading him away from Kherus’ guidance. It becomes clear that Kherus and Seruth have very different ideas of what being a King means; Kherus thinks a firm hand is needed to guide the people, while Seruth is starting to accept Farah’s way of a gentler, more kind hand. This eventually leads them to bicker, until Kherus has enough and tries to forcefully take control of Seruth’s body. They fight inside Seruth’s mind, with the Prince winning as Farah guides him back and bids him to ignore Kherus. Locking Kherus deep inside his mind; in darkness and silence, Seruth sets out to the task of killing the Vizir (who has absorbed the Empress of Time’s power). As he takes the Vizir down, it releases the Sands of Time into the world.
In doing so, Kherus is ripped out from Seruth’s body and mind, cast into the world as a fragile, weak sand creature; with no humanoid features at all. Like a mere wisp, he flees the scene; confused.
As months pass, he manages to reform into a body of his own. One human, bearing some resemblance to Seruth and a full sand creature form. It takes him a long time to adjust to either thing, but he’s still driven by revenge as he feels Seruth is not fit to rule. Not with how much Kherus helped him - and he did, as there were several obstacles the Prince couldn’t find a way around without his help.As Kherus hides in Babylon, he’s eventually knocked out by an incident involving water. It’s actually Seruth who finds him and brings him to the Palace. They have another argument there, with Kherus being annoyed at Seruth knowing of his existence at all. He accepts Seruth’s offer of staying in the Palace for a while, to see what exactly the Prince - now King - is talking about. But as weeks pass, Kherus isn’t impressed by Seruth’s methods. And he especially loathes Farah, who he sees as the main bad influence on Seruth. They have an actual fight this time, with Kherus leaving and promising revenge.
This time Kherus is much more careful and spends years building up his strength and allies. He finds other disgruntled citizens, who don't like Seruth for various reasons. Especially as the years pass and Seruth continues to make decisions that mainly favour the nobles in the city.
As the centre of Babylon becomes more prosperous and the technology advances over the course of a decade; Kherus has managed to become quite the thorn in Seruth’s side. Knowing that Kherus is somewhere out there has made the King paranoid as well.
Kherus is now the leader of a secret rebel force, residing in the mountains outside of Babylon. With several hidden bases in the city itself, the bandit force - as seen by the city officials - is capable of disrupting trade lines and doing other things to make it difficult for the King.
As things have only improved for the lucky few in the city; Kherus has managed to find plenty of unhappy citizens to recruit. Under the decade, his thirst for revenge has mellowed some and he’s matured into someone who is actually genuinely interested in doing what’s best for his people. But he’s still determined to say that isn’t Seruth.
So, Kherus slowly works to undermine Seruth, until he can deliver a proper killing blow to the King. A lot can happen until then.

Timeline

Varga was adopted by the vigilants of Stendarr at the age of ten with no memory of her real parents; an age where she was really too old to be fully accepted in their group, due to her being close to her teenage years. She wasn’t as easy to mould to their views. Which meant that the rest of her eight years with them, she was unruly and stubborn; refusing to fully accept their ways.Unable to preform magic or accept their rules; Varga never became more than an errand girl, as they preferred to keep her out of their way. Especially with how she'd also developed a talent for stealing, in a way to act out her feelings. Despite their crude behaviour and dislike to her; she still stuck around for as long as she could because it was the only world she could fully remember and honestly, it scared her to be alone.Until the day she was sent out in the nearby mountains at the age of 19; where she was attacked by a werewolf. In the battle they both tumbled down the cliff sides; resulting in the werewolf dying but not before biting Varga. In pain and under the effects of the early curse, she was barely conscious, and was taken in by a nearby village until she could recover enough to be on her way. With no available cure to the disease coursing through her veins, she tried to make it back to the vigilants only to end up being too late. The curse fully took hold, resulting in her slaughtering a guard just outside of the town she'd been healed in. Terrified and ashamed of herself and her first frenzy, she fled the north side of Skyrim; escaping to the southern woods where she stayed for around six months, too scared to approach villages or towns often. She sharpened her combat abilities and learned to live and plan ahead with being a werewolf during that time; picking up archery on top of her sword and shield skills. Eventually she reached Riften, where she could hone her abilities as a thief too; everything to stray as far as possible from the path that the Vigiliants tried to guide her onto.Varga stayed with the guild for the rest of her twenties where she met a lot of people, for the better or worse. An argonian named Tarjon who, while first close friends became merely allies as he abandoned the guild to join the Dark Brotherhood instead. Rishka, a female khajiit who still remains one of Varga's closest friends and also Fengir, a fellow werewolf. They ended up as lovers for a few years, but separated due to not agreeing on where to take the relationship. At the age of 27, a year after her and Fengir's separation, he was killed by a high elf called Taryan, who hated werewolves above all. Varga and he had still remained friends and she left the guild to seek revenge, chasing the elf and being chased in return when she realised that she didn’t stand a chance against the much older and experienced woman. Varga kept on the move as much as she could until she turned 30 and went to Solstheim; hearing about it as a good place for werewolves and seeking a refuge from Taryan's endless hunt. Here she met Tenshin, a mercenary, who became a long and trusted companion, eventually following her back to Skyrim. During this time, the vigilants of Stendarr were all killed by vampires, resulting in Varga finding out about how they thought she had betrayed them by turning into a werewolf. She and Tenshin cremated the bodies but Varga would never be able to look at the guild with fond eyes ever again. One day they passed by Whiterun and helped killing a dragon, only to learn she was the Dragonborn. A visit to the Graybeards later, she realised just how awful the situation was and what was expected of her. She powered on though, completing the long quest of taking out Alduin. Just a few days after the death of Alduin, she was invited to a meeting in Solsteim on Ulfric's behest to continue sorting out the on going civil war, when Taryan attempted to assassinate her during the meeting.Taryan was killed in the attempt, with Varga seriously wounded. Varga, realising how close she'd been to death two times in just a week, decided to tell Tenshin the truth about her growing feelings and the two became an item that very day. Seeking to protect Varga, Tenshin suggested they travel to Morrowind and leaving the war behind. Knowing the Stormcloaks were in capable hands, Varga agrees.

Timeline

Miyoshino gives birth to twins in 1525 AD, on the 14th of September. The twins are separated to keep them safe, as their mother is a yokai (A demon), meaning her sons are Shiftlings or half demons. Hide lives with his mother for ten years, until she's murdered by Kashin Koji. The event leaves Hide traumatized to the point of being rendered mute for several decades. He spends his teenager years on the streets, where he's often bullied for being half a demon. At the age of 26, he cuts a lonely life as a demon hunter.Fate would have him encounter Tokichiro, who accepts him for who he is and drags him along on his adventures. As Nioh 2 takes place, Hide becomes an important instrument during the 1500s in Japan. He encounters his father and his twin but loses them quickly again, due to the conflicts and the Spirit Stones corrupting most people around. Along with Tokichiro, he starts to work for Oda Nobunaga and gets to know Mumyo, the leader of the now extinct Sohaya - a clan of yokai hunters.Eventually Tokichiro and Hide asks to share a name together; Hideyoshi; and the pair spend the next years battling in Nobunaga's name. The more Spirit Stones that Tokichiro collects however, the stranger he grows and the bond between him and Hide becomes strained. As decades pass, Hide realises he doesn't age with the rest of them, due to his nature as a half demon.Saika Magoichi tries to kill him at some point as they're in opposite forces. They very quickly form a bond, despite their battle in which Hide came out the victor. They part ways, but there's a growing interest between them that lingers. Nobunaga is killed, due to Tokichiro conspiring against him, having now been corrupted by the Spirit Stones. Hide has no interest in following him in this path and him and Mumyo joins the rebels. During this time, the Saika aids them and Magoichi personally takes on training Hide in the use of rifles, as well as swords as whatever Hide knows already is clearly self taught. They grow closer; close enough that Hide learns Magoichi's real name; Suzuki Shigehide.Hide quickly comes to blows with Tokichiro; reluctantly ending his life for the greater good, however it only lasts a short while. Kashin Koji resurrects him and later on; it's Hide who is slain by a much more powerful Tokichiro, using his own dagger. The Interim is the place where all dead must pass and since Hide can't really die; thanks to his origins, his visit there is short. He does encounter his mother here again for the first time; who is very happy to see him but haven't been able to rejoin the world of the living after her death. She tells him to reforge the blade Sohayamaru, which is in fact part of his glowing dagger and Mumyo's medallion. Objects, along with the actual blade, that grants eternal life to whoever wields it. As he returns to the living world, he asks the others for help, realizing that a lot of time has passed between his 'death' and awakening.Hide is surprised to learn that Shigehide is no longer the leader of the Saika; having passed that role down to his nephew; who is now the new Saika Magoichi. Instead, Shigehide joined the rebels; as he greatly detests Tokichiro's new reign. Their time apart has made them both realise how much they really care for each other and they're officially a pair after Hide's return.Tokichiro; now a powerful lord years later, have more or less taken over. Hide returns to end his reign once and for all; killing him with the help of the now forged blade. Kashin Koji, as Tokichiro apologizes for what he's done, now that he's come to his sense; claiming it all as having been one long living nightmare for him that he couldn't escape.Hide fights Kashin; defeating him as well; and perhaps for once ending his chaos, as he's the one who has been possessing people in order to cause havoc across the land. Otakemaru as the man turns out to be; is an ancient yokai who Hide seals away forever; fulfilling the destiny he was set out with. In doing so, he falls into a deep slumber that lasts for almost two decades. He awakes again, because of Maria; a woman who arrives in Japan to free Otakemaru (During Nioh 1 events) and in doing so, Hide's freed from his own slumber. The man chasing Maria, William; is a foreigner who happens to be around when Hide awakes with red eyes, a sign of possession. Their ensuing battle is what knocks the sense back into Hide and he joins him in taking down Maria.Hide learns that the rebellious group that took down Tokichiro in the first place, has now converted over to a group of people who'll kill yokai and also keep watch over any Spirit Stones, to avoid them being misused again, something that Maria directly does. Mumyo and Shigehide are still a part of it; neither having aged at all due to Mumyo having worn the medallion (which is actually the cross guard of the blade) and Shigehide who took Hide's dagger after he fell asleep, so it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. The reunion is happy, especially between Hide and Shigehide who refused to abandon Hide even after eighteen years.During these events, Maria also resurrects Tokichiro; hoping to bring the cruel lord back and someone Otakemaru is more than happy to possess again. Before he can however, Hide intervenes and ends up possessed himself. As he fights off Otakemaru inside his own mind to regain his control; he's aided by no other than Tokichiro who luckily is his old self after his resurrection. Otakemaru is finally defeated once and for all; Maria is stopped and peace returns to Japan. Tokichiro leaves the world of the living peacefully and Hide, Mumyo and Shigehide go on to continue ridding Japan of yokai and watching over any remaining Spirit Stones. In between Nioh 2 (1525-1616) and Rise of the Ronin (1853) the Sohaya is rebuild into a clan that protects the Spirit Stones and makes sure that no one attempts to use them for evil again. They gather magical artefacts and kill hostile yokai where they can, although the spirits and the demons calm down a lot in this time, due to the lack of the Spirit Stones presence. To the point where the public almost forgets that they still exist. In 1724, Shigehide is assassinated by Shogun spies, who has started to see the clan as a rival force; not trusting their use of magic and strength. While Hide kills the man responsible, he's so distraught and broken that his body shuts down and he enters a very long sleep. It's first in 1811 that he wakes up again, to a new world but a thankfully similar clan. Shortly after that Mumyo decides to stop extending her life to build a family and gives birth to a boy called Reyse in 1815.In 1837, Hide encounters a nine year old shiftling, who lost his family and village to a shogunate raid, called Tenshin. He takes him to the Sohaya, who raises the boy as a warrior. Hide quickly starts to see the other half yokai as a younger brother, trying to give him the care he himself didn't get as an orphan. In 1853 (Rise of Ronin events begin) the black ships arrive to Japan, and the clan finds out that there is a Spirit Stone on one of the ships. Hide and Tenshin are sent out to investigate. While Hide collects the Spirit Stone and a secret document, the Blue Demon shows up with a weapon that is capable of taking out yokai. Tenshin is injured in the fray and before Hide can react, he's shot and killed himself. His body, per his nature, dissipates and he's re-formed by a shrine on land but by the time that happens, the ships are long gone.A few weeks later shogun spies raid the clan, killing most of the Sohaya. Mumyo and a few others manage to survive as Hide covers their escape. While Mumyo decides to rebuild the clan further inland, Hide heads out to try and find Tenshin, as he can feel he's still alive through his Guardian Spirit. Declaring himself a ronin to keep the Sohaya safe, Hide encounters Ryoma Sakamoto in 1858, having no idea what that man will bring him in his life.
